GENERAL

Le Cat Yacht Charters welcomes all passengers on board and once on board, all passengers will be required to sign an Indemnity Form prior to departure of the cruise / charter.  Once on board, passengers accept that the Skipper, Crew and Vessel operators are in full authority and all passengers need to comply to any requests or instructions issued to them by such persons.

 

Le Cat Yacht Charters cannot be held liable for any damage to and/or loss of personal goods/damage to their property from whatsoever causes and that they waive any claim which they may have against the owners, management, master or crew of the vessel arising from any cause whatsoever including the negligent action or omission of the owners, management, master crew of the vessel. Le Cat Yacht Charters will be free from liability for failing to provide a service due to industrial action, unsuitable weather conditions, technical problems or other events beyond the Operators control.

 

Le Cat Yacht Charters reserve the right to charge for pilferage or damage to the vessel and/or its equipment/instrumentation.

 

Passengers undertake at all times, to respect the environment and will not intentionally pollute, damage or otherwise harm sea life and the surrounding environment.

 

 

BOOKINGS

All cruises/charters are booked online through www.lecat.co.za and are confirmed subject to availability on confirmation of 50% payment having been received at the time of the booking with the balance of the payment, 50% to be received 24 Hours prior to the departure of the cruise/charter.

 

Full names of the passengers are to be provided at the time of booking the cruise/charter.

 

RIGHT OF ADMISSION

Right of admission is reserved, and all passengers are required to have paid in full prior to the departure of the cruise/charter.

 

PAYMENT

50% deposit must be paid and received at the time of booking with the balance. 50% being paid in full 24 Hours prior to the departure of the cruise/charter.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY
A cancellation fee of 20% of the booking amount will be levied on all cancellations.
Cancellations must be received by Le Cat Yacht Charters 72 hours before the cruise/charter
to qualify for a 80% refund voucher of the booking amount. No refund vouchers will be given
after this time period. Cancellation requests are required to be emailed to info@lecat.co.za.
Please note, Le Cat Yacht Charters do not offer monetary refunds. Vouchers are issued for
all refunds and are issued for the value of the refund applicable and not the charter amount.
The cancellation fee will be 100% of the Cruise/Charter rate should the client cancel the
charter within 72 hours of the departure date of the desired Cruise/Charter.
The client will be liable for a 100% cancellation fee should the client not arrive for a booked
scheduled cruise/charter.
In the unfortunate event that a cruise/charter is cancelled by ourselves due to adverse
weather conditions or for any reasonable reason, such as Engine Failure, Le Cat Yacht
Charters will not be held responsible or liable for any additional losses incurred by the
person or company chartering the vessel. Le Cat Yacht Charters will endeavour to re-
schedule the charter for a date convenient to both the client and vessel, alternatively, a
refund voucher for 80% after levies, will be issued for any deposit or advance payment made
by the client. Please note, Le Cat Yacht Charters do not offer monetary refunds and only
Vouchers are issued for the refund amount.
In the case of Special scheduled cruises over Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Years Day,
New Years Eve, Valentines Day, Easter Weekend and Ocean Race Events, the Cancellation
Fee will be 100% of the scheduled cruise/charter.

REFUNDS
All refund requests are to be submitted in writing to info@lecat.co.za.
No refunds will be processed within the 72 hour period prior to departure of the
cruise/charter.
Please note, Le Cat Yacht Charters do not offer monetary refunds and only Vouchers are
issued for the refund amount.

CATERING
All catering is to be finalised at least within 5 days prior to the event, including all payments
for such catering.
All payments in relation to drinks/beverages are to be settled in full prior to disembarking the
vessel. A 10% gratuity will be charged on all bar tabs.
A 72 hour notice period is required to cancel catering, anything less, a 50% cancellation fee
will be levied to be paid to the supplier.
Should the cruise/charter be cancelled by Le Cat Yacht Charters for any reason whatsoever,
the client will be responsible for any catering arrangements made.
All catering is outsourced and a delivery fee of R 200-00 is applicable for all catering
deliveries to yacht Le Cat.

VOUCHERS
Vouchers are non-returnable, non-transferrable and not redeemable for cash. The voucher
is valid for one (1) year from the date issued on the voucher. Vouchers are only
redeemable against the gift mentioned.

 

OUR WEBSITE

Any persons accessing our website automatically agree by entering the site to all the terms and conditions.  The names, logos and trademarks belong to Le Cat Luxury Charters and may not be used or replicated in any advertising or publicity, or otherwise, without the written consent from ourselves.  All material featured and information provided on our website, both text or images, are protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual property rights and are owned by Le Cat Yacht Charters.

 

FORCE MAJEURE

Le Cat Yacht Charters will not be held responsible or liable for any claims in relation to losses of whatever nature caused by Force Majeure.  No warranty is made as to the suitability of weather with respect to the cruise/charter.  The Skipper shall have the option of terminating or cancelling the charter at any time that he/she deems necessary.

 

GENERAL

We may change our Terms and Conditions at any time.  In the event of any of these Terms and Conditions proving to be invalid or un-enforceable, the remainder of these Terms and Conditions will still continue to have full force and effect.
